Trips and Visits

Trips and visits form an important part of our robust and academic curriculum as well as providing valuable enrichment through non-academic extra-curricular activities.  Over the course of an academic year students will have many opportunities to take part in offsite visits which aim to enrich their learning experience and bring aspects of work and life into their learning. These visits form an important part of our students' Social, Moral, Spiritual and Cultural learning which ensures they leave as well-rounded and worldly young adults.

The trips and visits offered by the College vary greatly, from local hour-long excursions to significant residential overseas visits. Examples of trips and visits currently offered by the College include:

  • Theatre visits.
  • Rewards trips to the cinema.
  • Sports fixtures.
  • Trips to local businesses and venues as part of the ASDAN course.
  • Geography fieldwork on the Malvern Hills, at Leigh Brook and in Snowdonia.
  • History trip to the battlefields.
  • Language exchanges.

Bishop Perowne College is supported in the planning, monitoring and evaluation of all trips and visits by B and S Educational Systems and Training Ltd. The College's Educational Visits Co-ordinator or EVC is Mr J Manship (Assistant Headteacher) who has overall responsibility for all of the trips and visits which take place. The College's Learning Outside the Classroom policy, which covers all aspects of trips and visits, can be viewed by clicking here.
