Achievement Culture

At Bishop Perowne Church of England College, we are proud of our achievement culture. Every student is encouraged to work hard and demonstrate our core values.

Our staff award achievement points generously and we feel strongly that it’s effort and doing the right thing consistently deserves recognition, not just academic success.

Students who reach our 501 and 707 Clubs gain access to special treats and events in the summer term such as Chocolate Fountain Parties, Art and Drama workshops, sporting and STEM events, early clapouts, cinema experiences and much more.

Our culture of being “first through the gates” to the 501 club creates joyous competition and excitement amongst our students and pairs perfectly with our culture of celebrating our students.

termly awards

In addition, termly awards are presented for students who have lived our values most impressively. These award winners are nominated by staff and provide a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the best of our students’ conduct.

the bishops Oscars

Finally, the culmination of our Rewards system is our Annual Awards Evening, fondly known as the bishops Oscars. At this exciting event, we are able to celebrate the years biggest successes, whether these be academic prowess, sustained effort or contribution to our community.
