House System

At Bishop Perowne, every student is a member of one of four houses: Dunstan, Wulfstan, Oswald, and Goodrich.

These houses are named in honour of former Bishops of Worcester, reflecting the school’s rich historical and spiritual heritage.

The house system introduces a competitive dimension to school life at Bishop Perowne. Students are regularly encouraged to participate in a wide range of house activities, spanning from spelling bees and art competitions to bake-offs and the highly anticipated Sports Day Cup.

Each term, the houses compete for the prestigious House Trophy, awarded to the house that accumulates the most points across all events. This system fosters a strong sense of community, teamwork, and school spirit among students
