What is Sporting Perowne Academy?
The Sporting Perowne Academy is an elite sports development programme for committed and talented young athletes joining Bishop Perowne. We offer a focused pathway for high-performing sports students to thrive both physically and personally through advanced coaching, mentoring, and leadership opportunities.

What Sporting Perowne Academy Offers:
- Access to the Sports Leadership Programme.
- Opportunities to support and lead events both in and out of school, including local primary school tournaments.
- Priority access to practices and team selections, and training sessions.
- Monthly 1:1 mentoring with external providers.
- Gain insight, advice, and encouragement from current professionals.
- Twice-weekly sessions in strength, conditioning, and fitness at Bishop Perowne.
- Priority places on sports tours, trips, and visits (at least one per academic year).
- First access to KS4 sports qualifications (e.g. GCSE PE or Sports Science).
- Links to elite sports programmes, including connections with Lincoln University (USA), University of Tennessee, Worcester Cricket Foundation, HOW College, Worcester University, Birmingham City FC. Worcester Rugby Foundation and more.
- Exclusive Sporting Perowne sports kit worn with pride to signify academy membership.
