‘Participation to Reach potential’

Sport is very important at Bishop Perowne. Guided by the motto ‘Participation to Reach potential’, the department encourages all students to engage actively in sport and physical activity, regardless of ability.

We have high participation rates across all year groups and often achieve notable success in local and regional competitions with a strong emphasis on developing Iife long fitness habits.

sporting extra curricular clubs

We have a large range of sporting extra curricular clubs taking place both at lunchtime and after school. These clubs are suitable for those who simply want to enjoy practicing a sport through to those aiming for a competitive place in a school team.

As part of our PE offer we organise regular, sports based trips and visits. Recently we have taken students to watch the England U21s, The Lionesses, the All England Badminton Championship as well as a residential Sports tour to Condover Hall.
