Year 9 Options

The Spring term of Year 9 marks the start of the options process; this is a very important milestone in your child’s educational life. It is an exciting time where students begin to take some control of their learning and specialise in the areas that they select.

It is imperative that students have the right guidance and support to enable them to make informed decisions. Parents and students are invited to an information evening and students participate in taster lessons before making their choices. These subject choices will shape their journey over the next few years when applying for apprenticeships, further education, university and beyond.
